Food for thought in there. Why cant they just have rolling teams? For example, if you are in under 12's you play until the day before your 12th birthday, then go up to under 14's. Surely this would lead to team stability and a age division coach could stay with that group, bringing in a new kid (or kids)every month or so and losing a kid (or kids)every month or so. I've rummaged through the FIBA rules and regulations and cant find any reference to this issue, could someone point me to the right paragraph and section?
