U19 gems training camp.

She outplayed them both on the weekend when Rangers played Cof E apparently

Tupea won't be going to college because if you read the WNBL website she has resigned with the Flames for 2yrs I believe.

She has also been at the Opals camp following the Gems camp.

Hopefully more aussie will make it onto the top schools in the coming years for the girls, seems to be good interest in our australian players.
Not a lot to offer here really between the ages of 18 and 21 at any decent level , can only be a good thing for australian basketball in general

Wouldnt run tonks as PG at all, she's a bit like Lavey has one thing, fast burst that's it, but if that's what joyce likes then she's a shoe in
Pirini too slow but smart guard, only plays PG too inconsistent as a shooter

Doesn't make any sense at all really, she's been a standout guard for a long time, but her future looks good, a very good opportunity and from reading the FSU coaches comments looks like she will integrate into their system straight away, they only have four guards for next year at FSU, Antoniadou only freshman guard and only other PG along with the Spanish forward who's been recruited, maybe this is why she's not at camp???
Think Un19s could certainly use her though

How many of those schools are ranked in top 20?

Heard that was an issue with the u 19 mens budget restraints , but seems silly when most of the athletes are already up at the institute, how broke is BA

Agree^ Fareo has not played any college really she's only just come off crutches, skinner has an injury too that going to see her miss the SEABL season,
And no good defensive players all, Antoniadou would have been their strongest defensive guard for sure
And why only 18 going to camp don't they usually take more?
Maybe Antoniadou is not available, college commitments might be the issue as it seems strange such a strong guard would miss out
Hellesey has been shooting really well for her bigv championship side, think Magbegor is not ready for this level but will star at un17s for sure, her physical body and game iq is not mature enough yet to match those big European and American posts.but a future star for sure.

Will be a very slow team in the guards with Tupaea and Pirini , lot of work for wallace to handle on her own.

Is Pirini or tonks a better fit at pg than antoniadou? or is it because they go to the centre of excellence

Antoniadou is a strong PG/shooting guard, defensive and offensive player, so I'd say being at CofE has given the other two a spot over her, crazy when you consider the versatility, and her 3 pt shooting.add her speed and tenacity.

Looking at that line up they are light on guards
Fareo is still injured and Dennis has not shown much, who picks the line up Joyce or Gorri?
