His numbers have been dreadful which is sad as he is so much better than those numbers suggest.
I think his game would develop much faster with the Breakers. Dean Vickerman, Paul Henare, Judd Flavell, Cedric Jackson & Cory Webster would provide plenty of knowledge and skill set to the talented youngster while being able to offer quality court time in a league with a lot of guard talent.
Breakers may have a local big in their sights and go with an Import Scoring Guard to come off the bench but I think Paul's scenario is more likely with NZ going hard after Tai to give up Nebraska and come home to the North Shore.
