Townsville confirm future
Sounds like a total restucture of the board and Management at NBL level with the Larry Kestleman deal likely to go ahead. Talks with TV networks are happening and that is crucial to the survival of this league.
Just listened to a radio interview with Graeme Wade and he said that the Hawks will probably be safe also with an announcement possible as early as next week.
NBL CEO spoke positively about them, the Hawks and the league's future on SEN this morning here in Melbourne.
Spoke about how many changes he is employing, how the board and the basketball management of the league will be two different entities and how he sees the big $$$ offer by the United owner as a positive.
Spoke about how the TV rights are ver much in the picture and that 8 teams are alomst a lock already for season 2015-16.
