Plans for new courts
Having a giggle at the old comments about the ARC. Still cant believe it ended with 2 full size courts.
.

Casey and Pakenham are two separate clubs/associations, located about 25 mins apart. It's quicker to Dandenong by road from Pakenham than it is to Casey. With the growth already occurring out there, all these associations should continue to grow.
Casey's new facility will be pretty impressive from all reports too.

Casey/pakenham will be the new hot bed for Victorian ball.
It'll be a major club within the next decade like Knox, Dandenong etc.
So many young families with lots of lil kiddies.

Bayside News reporting that building at the Frankston Stadium has been halted as the Council and FDBA negotiate the lease. How the hell is this saga still going on? Surely the increase in rent was budgeted for but then again who knows. Casey are nearly ready to open their new facility and Frankston hasnt even had a sod of soil turned.

Interesting #035. The way Frankston are talking, the new courts are not far away?? The Casey complex will be huge with the pool, indoor soccer/volleyball,bowls etc. Its certainly the growth area of Melbourne.

Then they wonder why we can't grow the sport.
Sub-standard facilities won't attract new players.
Hillcrest is only 'earmarked' because of the land value on such a prime site.
If/when the Port development takes off, the Bearcat Stadium will be worth heaps.
Trouble is that none of us will be around to see such development

As he accepted his induction into the hall of fame, Jordan joked he may yet return to the court at the ripe old age of 50...
ESPN have a story covering this, and Australia's very own cliff Young gets a mention!
"Mock common sense at your peril, Mr. Jordan. A 50-year-old man? In the NBA? Wilt Chamberlain said he could do it. But he didn't. Surely we can all agree that this is athletically unreasonable."

I really cannot see Jordan back at the age of 50 despite what the article suggests.
