Gordie McLeod leaves Wollongong Hawks

Luke nevill obviously has no ambitions to compete for a spot on the boomers team. He could actually make the roster if there are enough injuries.

Gordie is a huge loss to the NBL. His teams always played with discipline and structure that allwoed them to achieve more than the sum of their parts should have alllowed.

Hope the Hawks can bounce back and become a strong team and get the support they need from their community.
Also hope Gordie is back in the league somewhere soon.

Breaking News from the mercury via twitter Geordie has left the Hawks.

Taipans also announce Mick Downer (asst boomers coach) has not agreed to terms for 15/16 and is a gree agent.

New Head Coach for the Hawks - Mick Downer ?
