Cairns are doing a lot of things right. They keep their core group and strengthen their coaching staff significantly. ( so Glad Gordie is stil in the NBL) If they can get 2 quality imports PLUS Worthington they will be right up there again.

So far only Townsville and 6ers are yet to excite anyone. Townsville losing quality Australian PG and SF and no major new signings announced yet, and 6ers keeping a solid core group but losing Motum and seemingly Schenscher means they really need to sign at least one exciting big man plus a real scorer.
