Maybe it's time for BSA to go into the big room of mirrors and have a good look at themselves and why this person left. It may indicate a few short comings.
A business (and organisation) can learn a lot from former employees as well as disgruntled customers. These people can provide the best form of feedback to an organisation. You might not like what you hear, but if you don't listen, then it is to your detriment.
