"Webster's gone (hasn't been replaced afaik), Pledger's injured, Abercrombie's injured, Jackson#2 looks like a clear downgrade on Ibekwe, the 3 direct rivals have improved, NZ didn't finish top in the minor rounds last year, just had a good finals series.
There's more than enough reasons to doubt NZ this year."

Webster is gone for sure yet.
Pledgers back in round 1.
Abercrombie is also expected back in round 1.
No one rated Ebekwe at the start of last season so why should anyone rate Charles Jackson?
Their rivals would want to have improved, NZ swept the finals.

Each year everyone gets their hopes up that NZ will fall from grace but Cedric Jackson & Mika Vukona will make sure they compete each game.
