LV buy an Apple TV. Then you just airplay to that, works well for me. You may be able to use chromecast which is cheaper but I don't have any experience with that so can't comment on it.
I'd imagine at best it will be like the AFL app. Only lets you watch on phones or tablets.
That cost me about $80 for the season which I found great value. I was able to also plug my ipad into the TV and watch on there if I wanted. The quality through the TV was average though. Not terrible, but nowhere near HD.
