I assume that District clubs still train? My social club did that once, 20 years ago. You probably have a coach too.
In your position, I am sure I would be displeased with the change too, but I am guessing you will keep playing District anyway.

Not going to play if it's untimed.
I play because it's organized, club format, properly timed, properly run games.
I also pay good money for all of these things. Or I could pull my team, pay $50 registration for a social comp where we only have to drive 5 minutes from home, still use the uniforms we bought through the club, and pay less per game.
It doesn't make any sense in my eyes.

Summer + winter or only summer?
Can't see teams sticking around below div 3 if it stays this way.
Also can see clubs folding or going into serious debt

For Adelaide to feature in this season finals several things need to happen. Let's start with our defence at home, teams get too many easy baskets,we may look like we are on a roll only for them to follow up with a open shot or drive to the rim that my Nan could guard better and to my knowledge have'nt had too many break away games all year. Next our go to play's ! Do we have any! It seems to me when we really need a bucket it can look very ugly, No real game plan at all, with Maher retired and no- one filling his shoes we are very vulnerable. Finally belive, no doubt Balls and Johnny G have had an allstar season but to me look like they play with a lot of pressure, maybe it is us as suppporters, or several bad umpiring decisions but both this season have been frustrated and being the man who runs the play;s and our captain affects the rest of the team. It's not over until it's over and if we can get the wins needed I think the finals are very open this season. Never give up hope.
