Defunct NBL Franchises
Well, we all know what happened with Clint and Centrelink...
Not really involved with the Slingers anymore, but Michael Johnson is still up there as GM. Sadly the ASEAN league has its own lengthy rollcall of departed franchises, but the Slingers have stuck around and have a new 3000 seat stadium.

He was hired before I started working for them so I'm not sure on the details. I do know how he kept the job, though - he worked cheap.

Ah, the stories I could tell about my adventures with the famed Mr. Dogg. Like the time Mal Cooper stopped a game for three minutes to argue with him. Or the time he went off at me on his website because I had the hide to suggest that it wasn't such a good idea to play certain pieces of music. And he got even worse after the team moved to Singapore!

I sorta skipped the Noughties for Basketball to be honest. I really only got back into it in 2011.
and I probably have early onsent Dementia.

I didnt even realise that that Sydney Kings of all teams went bust in 2008 for the 2009 season. Wowsers. I know they are back now, but I cannot even remember it happening.

Yeah, I was listening to ABC grandstand on Saturday and In between the mind numbing horseracing guff that passes for sport they were talking about how many defunct teams there have been in the past 30 years. The guy started to list them then ran out of breath.

Will it be out of either Murray Bridge, Strathalbyn and Great Southern or will another team step up to the plate?
