Time to sack Gleeson
He's Boomers assistant, any bball fan in Australia should certainly know that.Did anyone say he wasn't?
Gleeson recruited 2 new imports including Ennis that Bevo never would've found[citation needed]
and if they were running his plays then he should've won the previous years.Rob Beveridge had one season where Redhage and Martin were both healthy for the entire playoff run. He won a title that year.
Gleeson had the addition of Ennis, Redhage and Martin healthy, and Cedric Jackson playing somewhere other than New Zealand.

Well, the new international schedule means it's impossible to be the national head coach while also coaching an NBL team, so I can think of one positive that would come out of it...

Gleeson as Boomers HC? Oh my god, that'd just be a huge catastrophe.

Gleeson won the title in 2014 by having James Ennis and telling the team to run whatever Bevo was running.
Pretty sure anyone on earth could do both of those things.

Yes, actually I'd like you to go on.
You seem to be saying that the Wildcats success has come in spite of having shit players, which would sort of contradict statement about Gleeson if it actually made sense. (I wouldn't imagine that orgasms are a big requirement for hookers)

I think Gleeson's coaching is generally pretty good (though I do wonder what a coach like Gordie could do at Perth!)
As an aside, its sad that a player like Gordie isn't a HC in this league. One of the best, if not the best coach in Australia, and he is an AC. Not sure if he preferred to be an AC over a HC, but it breaks my heart.
Gleeson just doesn't have that very fine detail knowledge - it's only little things, but it has a habit of snowballing into bigger things. Sometimes they get away with it because the other team can't exploit it. But good teams/smart teams/well coached teams can find out a way - ala Crocs. The screen defense on Jett was a totally bad scout (give him the three) - result: he was able to get in the seams and getting buckets at a very efficient clip or dishing to big men under the basket or kicking to shooters.

90s style suits his squad, just because every tom /dick/harry are running so much on ball /motion boring crap doesn't mean it suits every squad.
need at least an average outside game consistently to play your today style and perth don't have it.
theres at least 3 guys in the perth squad really struggling but I would not be writing them off at all
