36ers vs Wildcats, Nov 18
Win both away against Adelaide, win both away against Hawks, lose a close one away to United that got a ref stood down, lose a tough one away to NZ with a big 4th quarter comeback.
Lose two to Townsville.
Seriously, Wildcats, wtf.

I don't think Joey would give a mate a job if it was going to cost his team a finals spot.
Joey would always be looking out for wo else is available to come in and strength the team if possible.
Last year he pulled Brock Motum out of the air, he's already done the same with Randle this year and Im sure he's stil looking.
Joey is a professional and likes to win. He might make mistakes ( as we al do) but he will kleep trying to win.

Yes Joey has to do a lot of work on our defence but least got a lot better in 2 nd half , yes I know could not got worse.
Now that work in progress and can only hope Joey up to improving it or only playing players that can provide some resemblance of defence.
But only 1 decision is going to get close to saving this season is replacing Ere as his defence well really doesn't even offer any .
Any player at 35 is really over the hill and only the real super stars last ,but they don't turn up for a season way out of condition like Ere has.
And no not getting better even Marcus not even trying to say that and now can see struggling to continue to defend him.
Really some of his stuff ups remind me of some of our bad no 10 players like Jason Williams etc not a highly paid import.
And even though setting him up with open shots he can't get anything like decent score.
If Joey won't do it then come on owners put some pressure on as with no scoreboard etc you need some positives like Randell to happen.

Have we ever seen two coaches who constantly whine at the refs, both of them need to focus on the stupid errors there teams are making, rather than the refs.
Gleeson needs to work on our in bounds passing after a bucket by the other team. We seem to struggle getting it in after a score, teams who can play a decent full court press will make it tough for the Wildcats, i mean last night Matt Knight at one stage was bringing the ball up, that is asking for trouble.

Let's not forget that ebi was brought in a the primary import. I assume his role was to be an instant offense type player coming off screens on the wings and using his good jump shot. How could you possible know any of that?

35% from three is good. His field goal numbers overall are meaningless without knowing how many are threes.
That one he bricked off the side of the backboard tonight made him look pretty awful, though.

Is calling Jawai a thug racist?
If the refs called the fouls by Jawai the same as almost any other player in the league he wouldn't last till half time.
I think the refs took the $1.90 on offer for the wildcats.

Im just glad I get to go to a game, its felt like ages since Ive walked to the Arena.

I think Adelaide may get up for this especially, if they run and gun.
Mitch Creeks defence and ability to finish at the rim even with some contact will be sorely missed.
The flip side is Perth may respond to their loss to the Breakers last round by coming out and kicking the Sixers ass.

Agree Isaac. Anyone who feels like a game is a sure thing when it's roughly even money being offered shouldn't be complaining, they should be making themselves some easy money.
Me, I'm not touching this one. Way too many unknowns for my liking. 50/50 or thereabouts seems fair IMO.

You guy finished your Childish Bullshit yet? It's like weve got the Special school kids in lately.

I think up until now the plan has been very much based around taking whatever we can get from Nate. Since his rough start he has looked good, and we look a different team when he's in the floor - as in one that is actually capable of scoring some points.
Recently Tom has stepped up, but even in that Hawks game where Tom was instrumental in our comeback and Nate was average, he was still brought in for Tom in the last few minutes, so I think that tells you what Gleeson's mindset has been when it comes to Jawai.
Tom was excellent in both games last round though, so Gleeson now has some real options. Not a bad conundrum to have, trying to find minutes for 2 good centres.

I haven't seen any updates on Jawai's back since it was mentioned on Monday that he had to leave training.
Back spasms seem to be very much day-to-day propositions so I'm guessing it will be a late call on that one. Hopefully he's good to go.

Finally the Sixers and Cats have something in common, they've both got players who have been conked.

Tipping Adelaide by 11.
Just have this sense they will play run and gun and exploit Perth in transition.

Kenny coming into this game under an injury cloud.

Could get ugly for Perth if his effectiveness is reduced at either end.
