Tai Webster hasn't improved at college

Tai comes into the Tall Blacks and flourishes because they let him and Corey play to their strengths, he goes back to Nebraska and goes back into his shell.

Tai will be one of the better guards in the NBL after a couple of seasons with the Breakers.

Yes, exactly. C.Webster didn't play D1 (but played very good in NAIA) and yet look at where is now.

He's a scoring combo guard and they have been playing him as a PG, hasn't helped him develop.
He'll hopefully come back to the Breakers and flourish like his brother has.

His coach made a massive stuff up IMO.

He was one of the best junior scorers in the world. He was going off to FIBA Qualifying series and scoring 18 points against Greece as an 18 year old.

Then Coach Miles insisted on turning him into a PG (God only knows why). His focus had to turn to becoming a PG and he was played in the PG position.

Nebraska was just a bad fit and the coaching didn't get the most out of him. I usually hate using the coaching excuse as a cop-out but when you saw what he could do scoring-wise against some formidable teams and compare that to his college play, you can't help but blame the coach.

Work ethic certainly not an issue. The Webster's are extremely hard working athletes.

My tip is that he will be back at the Breakers next season, which I would love to see. Replace him with McDonald.
