@ Camby - Technically, they had the free points under the cap and are able to sign more than 10 players as standard, so they technically could have just signed Weeks to a standard contract, not as an injury replacement, which is usually the method when you need to use the injured players points for room under the points cap...
I initially thought it was a bit suss timing with Demos out and Martin coming back in, but with so much room under the points cap, surely the cost of Demos' salary (a pie and a can of coke after the game?) wouldn't have forced them to sit him out, surely?
Spenceley WAS really happy in his little mid-game interview on the weekend though, so maybe he pulled off some sort of McPeakey thing or something...
