Ebi says hello
Kobe24 said EBI wont last the season end,and someone predicted that EBI will turn the corner and he has done so in the last 4 games.I hope EBI continues his awesome form for next couple of games and finals too.Go EBI

Look Yes I am one of those very negative about Ere and pleased for him and team turned it around.
I also said it was a disgrace how turned up to play in such a unfit state and still do and put blame on injury does not cut it as he is a professional sportsman and even if can't train you don't get that out of shape.
You may pat Ere on back now but if Randell did not come we would not even be close to playing finals and all would mean nothing as his defence and play was one of if not worst we had from import.

"How is criticising someone who was out of shape, under an injury cloud and in poor form being a "hater"?
And now that he is fitter and in good form, that doesn't mean the previous criticism was unwarranted."
^ Exactly. The fact that he is playing well now is obviously great, but it doesn't magically invalidate all criticism of his shape and his play over the first three quarters of the season. The criticism was warranted IMO. And surely having a guy who can play well in 24 games would have been preferable to a guy who can play well in 4 games.

The National Basketball League is continuing to make major strides forward with Basketball Australia announcing that it is seeking to appoint a full-time Referees Manager for season 2010/11.Job Description (PDF)
The position will see the NBL’s panel of officials working under the direct guidance of a full-time NBL employee for the first time in almost a decade.
The new role will be responsible for the recruitment, training, development, rostering and evaluation of all NBL referees. Once the Referees Manager is appointed, their key projects will include developing and implementing selection criteria and performance standards for NBL referees and reviewing the existing referee recruitment and development structures.
NBL General Manager Chuck Harmison said the move to appoint a full-time person to the new role reflected the importance of continually improving the already high quality of NBL referees.
“As a league we have been making significant headway in recent seasons in terms of identifying talented young officials coming through the ranks,” said Harmison. “We feel however that the area of officiating is so critical to our business that we want to invest more heavily in it than we have in the past. This will ensure we don’t just maintain current standards of officiating, but continue to improve year on year.”
Harmison paid tribute to outgoing Referees Manager Pat Tilden’s efforts towards improving the pool of NBL officials.
“Pat’s role has been a thankless one but he has always tackled it with great energy and professionalism,” Harmison continued. “While strictly speaking Pat was not ‘full time’ he put in countless hours in his role and His passion for the game and for officiating excellence regularly saw him contribute above and beyond the call. We hope Pat will continue to be involved in the NBL and basketball overall and we will work with the new Manager to ensure they build on Pat’s significant contribution to the NBL.”
Applications for the new full-time role of NBL Referees Manager are currently being sought and full details can be found on the Basketball Australia website.
