The Norwood Basketball Club will launch its new Norwood League Competition Saturday the 29th of May 2010.

Games will start at 2:00 pm and continue until all games are completed.

Costs will include $40 team entry fee for the season and $5 per player per game fee.

Games will take place at the Campbelltown Leisure Centre located on Botanic Grove (off Lower North East Road) Campbelltown.

We currently have positions for all players in all junior age groups, and are seeking applications from individual players that would like to be placed in a team, and whole team nominations.

Details can be found at www.norwoodbasketball.com.au then follow the links from the top right hand corner under Norwood League. You will find application forms and information on the competition under this tab.

The Norwood League is for all players wanting to improve their basketball skills, including those that currently play in a school, church, or other local league.

Players that currently play district are also welcome to play and you do not need to play for the Norwood Flames to be eligible for the competition, if you play at another club you may play also.

We do ask in your registration form that you state all the above teams that you play in and divisions particularly District players, such that we can place players in appropriate teams and divisions in the interest of competition and development of all players.

The league is aimed at improving the basketball skills of all players, giving players a place to develop; however we do have positions available for new players in our Development Squad and local teams as well, so new players are encouraged to register their interest.
