Bullets 2016 side
Oh and Newley said the only NBL team he'd play for would be the 36ers.

First of all guys- this is overly crazy speculation.
Do you how much money teams would have to pay for those players? Bairstow is bound for Europe if he is not re-signed in the NBA, Motum is being paid more than any NBL team can dream of aswell. No NBL team can challenge the European money-lure. Nate Jawai comes at a high price, so it is extremely unlikely you'll see Gibson, Jawai and Goulding on the same team unless the Bullets are willing to fill out the rest of their roster with over 16's. They will target players like Burston, Steindl, Pledger etc. They can only afford Gibson and Goulding or Jawai and Gibson or a combo invloving only two. The contract demands of those players make it impossible to have a stacked team without an average crowd attendance as high as the Wildcats. Bullets will average 5000. So it's likely they will sign one of those 3 and use the money to spread throughout the 9 other players and 2 imports. They'll be keen to grab Craig from the Taipans and possibly even try and overpay Cedric Jackson and pair him with Gibson. You won't see any stacked team, especially when they still have no clue how well the club will do pulling crowd numbers this year....

Wouldn't mind seeing Rhys Martin get the nod as a starting PG somewhere he deserves it.
I'm just thinking why sign Gibson for what he has asking when you can get a PG who is arguably better and will come in cheaper.

Why is it that people immediately spring to naming everyone they can think of that was born in QLD. This isn't New Zealand!
Why would Jawai have any interest in playing in Brisbane?
(Other than how much money they are offering.)
Mostly this is going to be determined by how much money they have to spend, and their approach to fan-building.
Will they concentrate on trying to build a core, and build fan-loyalty, or will they go full-throttle trying to buy a championship?
