There were significantly more people at Perth Arena last night than last years semi final vs Cairns, and that was about 8700. I'd say there would of been between 9000 and 10000.
Yeah I'm no crowd size judging expert my guess would be around 8k in the building last night.
I noticed that the 'Nickel' sections were chockers, while some of the adjacent sections had just the lightest dusting of fans, so I think that does say something about pricing in addition to the usual issues inherent to semi final game attendance.
