How Nike lost Steph Curry to Under Armour
Aaah, the good old days when online shopping was not hit by government taxes and the AU$ was almost as good as the green back!

Yeah and that makes sense Bear, because the population doesnt dictate too such big feet. Its annoying for the individual but thats the way it is. Worked in footwear for few years back in the day, and anything over a 13 usually ended up on sae anyways. Hit up Eastbay and call it a day.

The problem with basketball shoes here in Australia is that if you have 14-15-16+ size feet you literally have to shop online...

They aren't actually that cheap. $240 for a pair of Curry 2s. KD8s are the same, and only a little under the Kobes and Lebrons. UnderArmours were designed to play basketball in and not to be worn out to show off though, so no one wants them

Meh Nike have tons of great athletes and Jordan brand.
Curry's sneakers are priced pretty cheaply in comparison to Durant's, Lebron's and Kobe's Nike's which sell for a premium globally.
I own a heap of sneakers and you will never find a pair of UA in my collection.

No Ricey the religious stuff was squashed pretty quick. Made for a potentially controversial rumour though. Hard to project what he has been worth $$ wise , but the number being thrown around was off the charts for UA.

Religious quotes on the shoes, man now I know why he walks so tall! Americans and their religious BS, spare me.

Curry has been worth more than $14 billion dollars to Under Armour. Let that sink in..

Who is your main employer, that is a really good question. Im immediately think about this stuff differently now! Need both to make the money, but what Nike says goes. Just imagine if Nike decided they would make a heap more money putting LBJ in Laker colour sneakers, hypothetically, so they then give him another $500mil and say its for 'bonuses', pretty sure LBJ moves to Cali!

Pardon my ignorance but I thought game 7 would be on One HD today? or will it be on tomorrow? I have deliberately avoided facebook and nba.com although they thoughtfully sent me an email indicating who won, but still want to watch the game, was it aired today? will it be aired tomorrow?
