Lisch turns down Hawks contract, heading to Kings
yeah, I'm all of a sudden liking this Marquee local player rule now...

I think that only the first $150K of Lisch's contract will need to be under the salary cap if he is a franchise player under the new rules. Leaves a fair bit left over

Lots of money, and A Gaze as Head Coach and rumoured to be able to get Goulding as well.
Melb Tigers lost to Spectres tonite by 23. Just sayin.

My guess is Perth

Sydney it is, my second team!

Sydney. His wife won't want to move from east coast.

My money is on Perth. From what I have heard his first choice club was and still is Perth.

Why would lisch turn down to play for bevo to play for a guy who has never coached?

Probs those baby shit colour unis that sealed the deal. Will be great to see the Kings competitve again. And play a nice style ala not Goorjian ball!
Unlucky for the Hawks though.

Most likely destination is Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Cairns, Adelaide or New ZealandIf I'm Townsville, I'm pretty offended right now.

definitely sydney

Most likely destination is Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Cairns, Adelaide or New Zealand. Really narrows it down here hahah

The Breakers have named BJ Anthony and Josh Bloxham as the club's development players for the 2010-11 ANBL season.I thought BJ Anthony had a gig in Europe - either that's incorrect or I didn't realise that players could return to DP status after having played professionally abroad?
With Anthony and Bloxham confirmed as Development Players, 10 of the 12 Breakers roster spots have now been confirmed - with 9 of the positions being filled by New Zealanders, the most in the club's history.
Versatile forward Anthony and point guard Bloxham have been strong performers for Harbour Heat and Nelson Giants respectively in the NZ NBL and now will have the chance to press for a place in the Breakers ANBL roster.
