Nothing about Adelaide has smelt of smart with the import combo they opened with last season! Haha whatever really, the league is doing well and thats a great thing. If Ibekwe is a legit option then that would be great, as Adelaide would finally have some down low options that are consistent.

You wont hear anything from the 36ers. Never do, im not renewing until they lift their game. Sorry, but a verbal commitment and resigning a 'out of ideas' coach does not get me excited. Luckily im starting to enjoy the NBL as a whole not just the 36er faithful anymore.

Interesting read herehere about a pair of teenage Canadian brothers of Indian descent who have got US college scouts intrigued:

1) 17yo who's 7-4 and 285 pounds and getting Sabonis comparisons
2) 15yo who's 'only' 7-2 and 260 pounds

Dad is 6-4 and Mum 5-10.

It got me thinking again about what it would be like to be 7 foot plus: for basketball it's obviously useful, but for just about every other aspect of every day life (car rides, walking in out and out of doorways, buying clothes, etc etc) it must be bloody annoying.

And to be age 15 and7-2? No thanks.
