Australia's U21 men's team has continued its good start to the FIBA World Championships in Argentina with an 88-71 victory over Canada.
The win comes after the Crocs lost twice to the Canadians in pre-World's tournaments last month.
Aaron Bruce and Brad Newley top scored for the Crocs with 18 points each, while Aleks Maric had 11 rebounds and Brad Hill shot 11 points in 11 minutes.
Vlad Kuljanin led Canada also with 18 points and Levon Kendall and Kingsley Costain added 11 points each.
The Australians made a strong start, leading 26-13 at the first break and managed to work their lead out to 20 points.
Canada pulled back within one point in the third term, but the Australians stood firm and managed to take the 17-point win.
Crocs coach Guy Molloy was happy with his team's execution of their transition offence and also their pressure on the ball up the floor.
"We were concentrating on rebounding and defence in this match and I was happy that we won the rebounding count (41-34)," he said.
"We had a great contribution from our bench throughout the match, which holds us in good stead for the length of the tournament."
Australia's next match is against Israel on Tuesday.
