Any kid with a ball, a hoop, and a board can practice offence. That's why kids can be offensive guns. Learning D takes time, coaching, and quality opposition. It comes with time.
It's also attitudinal and what people come to expect, especially in the US. People watch for the offense, so its what college and HS sports deliver.

You get it even with fans of the adult game. We have a competitive, balanced, game, and people label it as "ugly." Then we have what to me is a frustrating game, with nobody playing a lick of D, and easy penetration at both ends, and people rave about the spectacle.

Plus, highlight reels for individual players are invariably biased in that they show predominately that players offense.

Manny is a really good bloke. I think its just a precaution just in cause he doesnt get cleared by NCAA.. Guy can seriously ball though. When he was home ive seen him down at MSAC murdering rims, Great Athlete.

That's not H.S that is JUCO and no in JUCO (Junior College) very little D is played nor do you expect JUCO transfers to play D. They are instant offence and most schools bring them in to score. TBH thats the way it is.

Ok, have to call this as I see it. He is obviously big and athletic like quite a few others we have seen lately. But these high school highlight videos are a joke really. Does any kid over there know what playing defense is?

According to an article by Daniel Eade, the Melbourne Tigers have finalised their roster with the signing of American point guard TJ Campbell.

Listed at 5’9”, Campbell, 22, finished his collegiate career after playing two years with the Portland Pilots, averaging 12.4ppg and 5.2apg, while also connecting on 48% from outside the arc throughout his time there.
