none of the teams will speak to imports about next year until at least September/October, seeing as though we are in the middle of the season right now

Was just reading a piece from a NZ newspaper suggesting that Rick Rickert is out of the Tall Blacks' plans because his NZ dual-citizenship hasn't come through in time (or at all?).

Could be that this is a problem for the Blaze and they may need to replace him and move in a different direction?
