IMHO - turnovers, poor shooting and at that level extremely poor free throw shooting cost them dearly.

the peaks and valleys in that game were like a roller coaster ride....10 points up....10 down.
Looked like a coach & player combination stuff up in the last 5 mins,maybe a rotation error?
Certainly should have won that.

Lot of waffle bear - need a point guard period. Last 4 minutes were filled with dumb plays, rushed shots, and failure to execute under pressure.

Tough loss for the U/17 boys, they put themselves in a position to win but didn't quite finish the job.

Canada are an accomplished team with some star players, they also showed the confidence to take it on and slam the ball home at the end while we were a bit timid at times, lacking confidence to to the instinctive thing.

If we can take it on a bit more and learn from this we can still do well, but close losses like this do hurt early on in a tournament.

We can start with focusing on being more physical and boxing out our opponents to deny them second chance scores and keep them off the rim...
