Watched his periscope this morning he was heading to the gym early to get some shots up. Sounds like he has a good work ethic

Daqy 4 through some more 'surprise' results, including Lithuania inflicting Spain's 2nd defeat, and Turkey proving too much for the highly fancied Greeks.

Group C
- Russia defeated Cote d'Ivoire, 72-66
RUS: Mozgov 19, Kaun 13
CIV: Kone 16, Edi & Lamizana 14, Diabate 10
Russia escaped a furious finish by the Ivory Coast to hold on, just a few free throw's away from facing a massive upset.

- Puerto Rico defeated China, 84-76
PUR: Vassallo 22, Barea, Peavy & Lee 13, Balkman 10
CHN: Yi 24, Z Wang 17, Sun 12, Lui 11
Barea who also had 9 assists led his team past a struggling Chinese team who were out muscled.

- Turkey defeated Greece, 76-65
TUR: Ilyasova 26, Asik 12, Erden 10
GRE: Bourousis 15
Ilyasova played a massive game in l;eading his team to a big win, nailing 6/6 from long range along the way. Greece struggled to find consistent scoring against a motivated home team, with Bourousis the only Greek hitting double figures in scoring.

- New Zealand defeated Lebanon, 108-76
NZL: Penney 26, Abercrombie 23, Jones 13, Tait 12, Vukona 11, Bradshaw 10
LEB: El Khatib 18, Abdelnour & Fahed 12, Vroman 10
The Kiwi's destroyed Lebanon putting on a scoring clinic with 6 players scoring in double figures once again led by the mercurial Penney.

- France defeated Canada, 68-63
FRA: Batum 24
CAN: Kendall 15, Olynyk 13, Anderson 11
Canada have again given up a last quarter lead as France finished stronger well led by Batum who scored 17 in the second half.

- Lithuania defeated Spain, 76-73
LTU: Kleiza 17, Maciulis & Pocius 13, Kalnietis 12
ESP: Gasol & Navarro 18, Fernandez 13, Garbajosa 11
Despiet trailing by 11 at quarter time and 18 in the 3rd quarter, Lithuania powered home strong with a 23-9 last quarter burst to steal the win over one of the tournament favourites.

Interestingly, Spain is now most likely to meet Greece in the quarter finals...
