Rotnei's odds are crazy, but will he have more competition than his last MVP season? Harris and Ogilvy likely to do well. Pre-season suggests Holyfield could get his share of stats too.

DJ is good odds purely because Adelaide are not going to have a go to guy down the stretch besides randle and worth a punt if he can ever regain that form he had before he went overseas.

before I put my bet on Andersen, who i called as MVP during the 1st game at the Olympics, I want to know what the voting system is like this year.

Same system then history says it is the player who has the least amount of competition from his team mates. I'd be then looking hard at Jerome Randle and then value bets of Cam Bairstow (if healthy at the start of the season) and Travis Trice.

Some ridiculous numbers in there, not least of which are some imports miles down the list.

Of the favourites, I don't mind Lisch purely because I think he'll have reduced competition from teammates.

Value could be Andersen at $15 in a team expected to get wins. Daniel Johnson at $41 in what may be a weakish team.
