LV - I think Stiff still has the most NBL championships as a player (6)? Has any other player gone past that yet? CJ Bruton maybe?

So another parallel with Andersen - they were winners with multiple teams.

He reminds me a little bit of David Stiff. Obviously a much better jump shooter, but his wily, slightly unorthodox shimmying and shaking down low brings back memories of the ol Tigers favourite.

Really looking forward to watching him play this year.

Despite being much maligned on various basketball forums Andersen has had a sensational career and has almost always put his hand up for Boomer duties.

To steal a line from Joni Mitchell

sometimes you just "don't know what you've got till it's gone"

An excellent tribute.

Great to see him bookending his great career with time in the NBL.
