Meet the Goannas: The quiet achievers

With Miami seemingly set up to be a top 3 team for the next few years I was wondering if any other teams could make moves to get them close. Obviously the wondow for the Lakers is closing and almost shut for the Celtics. The Magic have some pieces but are a player short IMO, as for the Thunder.

So who could get better via (semi-realistic) trades this season (let's ignore potential free agent moves like Melo to NY in 2011 and CP3 in 2012). What deal could get done NOW to instantly make a team a contender. Melo being traded to the Nets or NY isn't going to get those teams past Miami, Orlando or Boston.

How about if Melo went to New Orleans? Would a package of Thornton (good young talent), Ariza (reasonable 3 man to replace Melo), Pondexter, Peja's expiring plus 2011 and 2013 first round picks get it done? Probably not but imagine New Orleans:

Melo
West
Okafor

That team could do some damage.

Any other ideas for a new "superteam" that some GM might just be crazy enough to let happen?
