Sami Whitcomb from today's demolition of the Boomers

Tempting odds being offered on some underdogs this round:
Bendigo Spirit 1.36
Canberra Capitals 2.87
Townsville Fire 1.83
Sydney Uni Flames 1.83
Dandenong Rangers 1.20
Canberra Capitals 4.00
Perth Lynx 1.25
Melbourne Boomers 3.50

Going to be a battle for the Lynx to defend home court against the Boomers on Sunday. Still no word on a Monica Wright replacement, though it's good to hear that the search is definitely on, and now Tenaya Phillips has been ruled out for ~ a month due to her shin issue. Haven't heard an update on Lee but she could be doubtful too as it looked a nasty knock that she copped last game.
Lavey, Whitcomb & Edmondson will be heavily relied upon. I could picture Mijovic having to play a bit of SF this week.
Meanwhile, Melbourne go deep, with quality players like Cole, Cunningham, Bygate & Bowen coming off the bench.
Could be some value to be had on the Boomers I think (odds not published on Sportsbet yet)

I'm tipping the lightning won't lose this weekend )

No game for the Lightning this round. After playing 5 of their first 6 games on the road, they need a rest!

Greetings,
Got an RDO so just sitting back having a punt and keeping track of todays games while i 'work' from home.
When the games start i'll be making running comments, more than welcome to add to my very suspect knowledge.
My predictions for todays games...
All away teams.
Warriors, spurs, hawks, suns, celts and nuggets.
Carmelo will score 50 to impress chicago fans.
Hawks want revenge
Suns find a way
Celts are awesome
Nugs coz of caramelo
Spurs too good
Raptors are awful.
If they all get up, drinks are on me.
