king hawea is on vic metro list but why would she be on the Aus development list if she's a New Zealander?

I think they should only take 00 players.
14-15 year olds going to Canberra doesn't seem right.

there are a bunch of 99 players that should be on the list but it looks asthough it's too late for them.

There is a difference between opinions on junior players and just talking about public information about who is in a squad and who is not. Not very complicated to separate the two.

Let's talk about which players should be on that list.
Prefably women's.

When there names are on the list, it shouldn't matter.

Clarke & Bourne have already been added to the COE for next year so they are looking at who will be added at the mid year intake for girls.

They select a mix of potential positional players, hence why not all guards/forwards/bigs make selection, they take what they perceive as the best of the bunch......again it does come down a lot to personal preferences in many cases when two players of similar ability have to be reduced to one.

Two years is a long time in juniors when kids are developing all the time, many haven't even decided which sport to continue with, boys leave for football, girls netball, or find outside influences that are more attractive to them.

Which state? Probably no surprise, you're talking 2 years for juniors when a hell of a lot can change.

the coe girls are mostly 98/99. Only Shelley and Cochrane are 00.
All the 01s and 02s wouldn't stand a chance.

It is a just a fishing expedition - most of these girls are yet to do anything at all.

A shame they are not getting tested against the better players already at the COE.

Looks like they want to develop a big centre. Those 3 players are the tallest in the age group. All 6'3+

Vic metro girls are really strong, but I agree potter is underdone, but still plays well.
Too early for her ability yet!

You obviously didn't see the girls u16 nationals this year. Standard was very ordinary and can't see the next Sapphires coming close to the gold medal we won this year.

Those next under Aus 17 sides for both boys and girls will be absolute crackers.
The selectors will have an incredibly tough time choosing the squads.

Just fill ins who Downer happened to be friends with their state coach so know how to get hold of them. So, nothing at all in it and are not the new girls added to the COE.

The three 02 athletes listed exceptional talents; the Bulleen product and the Cairns boy in particular.

Pretty odd that they are already looking at 01/02 athletes. 15-16 year olds....
So many quality 99/00 overlooked.
