Taipans vs Breakers, Nov 27
haha i've got your fully fledged Fearne fan membership shirt ready for that day Freethrows :)

It's a shame most of the comments on this thread were lost.
Cairns looked in pretty good shape on Sunday, and the thing I was happiest about was that Fearne actually used the guys who were playing well for big minutes, rather than rotating players for the sake of player rotation, or because his watch beeped at him, telling him it was time for a substitution, or whatever it is that he usually does. OK, I admit it, he's been getting much better at this aspect of coaching. If he stops treating players like naughty children when they fail on defensive assignments, I'll be a fully fledged Fearne Fan.
Cases in point: Trice 34 mins, Weeks 4 mins; Gliddon 37 mins, McCarron 12 (not such a good comparison, because McCarron was playing well when he was subbed out for Edwin in the final quarter); Edwin 25 mins, Weigh 6 mins; Wortho 31 mins, Loughton 11; Jawai 21 mins, Egwu 16 mins.

WHo do the refs have in this one? Just bet whoever the refs and there family members bet on

I think the Bullets defeat can be easily explained by travel, and that Melbourne loss could easily have been a win.
Taipans are fine and they should win this one. I'd have them at like $1.55

I thought I would start a "come back paul" chant....
All those who know Welby, and think he should make a comeback to the ABA should respond.
20 or more responses would indicate a come back by Paul. (I know he would read this forum)
As an ex ABA player I think he is more than capable at this level and the game needs him more than ever.
COME BACK PAUL!!!!
Perhaps there might be others who should also consider returning to the ranks to take the load off some of the less than quality rookies
