Patty Mills beast mode

Patty pretty much won the game himself when he hit his first 6 shots of the last quarter. 15 points in the quarter for Mills from when the Spurs were down by 5.

Only shot he missed late was when he drove past Bogut for a wide open layup but that doesn't happen in the NBA.

15 points in the final quarter with only one miss to quarterback a clutch come from behind win.

Pretty good effort.

Great work patty!

Unfortunately though, i've noticed when he gets very good figures the Spurs are usually playing badly or lose.

Not an indicator of Mills as such - looking at the boxscore whenever Parker or Duncan had 25-30 against their name you'd know the Spurs probably lost the match.

Spurs at their best are an even scoring side and hate to be reliant on any individual.

If the Allstar game was tomorrow and it wasnt a popularity contest for the starting 5 which players do you think deserve to start based on their current form?

2 guards
2 forwards
1 centre

also an MVP, MIP, 6th man,ROY, best and worst offseason acquisitions and Sophomore Slump.

West
G Chris Paul
G Deron Williams/Russell Westbrook (utah bias maybe?)
F Kevin Durant
F Dirk Nowitzki
C Pau Gasol

East
G Rajon Rondo
G Derrick Rose
F Josh Smith
F LeBron James
C Dwight Howard

MVP
Pau Gasol
Can't stand the bloke (because he usually kills my Jazz) but he's been doing it all as of late.

ROY
Blake Griffin
The guy has been incredible and is definitely the future of the clippers

Smokey
Landry Fields
Watched him play today, a hard worker who hussles hard and rebounds really well. Has secured the starting 2 guard position in New York and has quickly become a fan favourite.

Soldid Acquisitions
Raymond Felton
Had a ripper game today and seems to be handling the pressure in NY. Amare was always meant to make some noise but Felton signing with the Knicks is almost just as important.

Al Jefferson
Offence is starting to come good after a slow start. Different role to what he is used to but is quickly becoming familiar with Jerry Sloans style. When Okur comes back should help spread the floor for big Al to get some easier looks.

Kris Humphries
Fairly unknown player but as locked down the starting power forward spot at the nets. Is rebounding really well and is playing his role on offence.

Sophomore Slump
Tyreke Evans
Had a slow start to the season but for Sac-Towns sake will hopefully come good soon, otherwise the only win the kings will get is the amount of ping pong balls in the lottery.
