going rate for stadium sausage sizzle ?
3 bucks snag and bread, onions always gotta be free since they cost you bugger all. Make it 5 bucks if they buy 2 or 2.50 each thereafter.

For the basic sausage in bread (with optional onion) Make it $3, or two for $5.
Go $6 for a steak sandwich, or $10 for a hamburger (bun, pattie, cheese, optional egg, optional bacon)
Get some bacon in there and watch the fellas come

To get a gauge on Fundraising BBQ etiquette and pricing just go to a hardware store one on the weekend. From my observation the current pricing for your Woolworths/Coles sausages on bread $2.50
(Sauce and onion optional but no extra cost)
I wouldn't be surprised to see an average price of $3 in 2017.

Butter on bread with your sausage is unaustralian, much like having BBQ sauce over tomatoe.

butter is non negotiable. None of that synthetic stuff made from sadness squeezed from almonds either. Proper butter, squeezed from the teat of an uncomfortable dairy cow.

That's good to know, but just because I come to your place does not mean I'm giving consent to receive a sausage ok!!

The elephant in the universe is...
Why at any fundraising sausage sizzle do you not get butter on your bread???
You come to my house you're getting butter!

My take on it was the OP was planning to run one and looking for ideas, not complaining about the price??

Seriously people are enquiring about the price of sausage sangas around the country, get a life and stop being tight and pay $2.50.You need help.

Depends on the sausage as well.
If it's the standard BBQ sausage than i'd pay anywhere between $2-3. Make it a premium German sausage or such, and i'd pay up to $5 - depending on volume.
Paying extra for onions is an affront to everything the ANZAC's died for. Onions should be free.

$2.50 but you just pay with a $5 and ask for no change - they're all fundraisers! Give a little!

I think if it's a fundraiser for say the U14 team to go to Nationals, you could charge a little more and only the coldest hearts would kick up.

Forget the .50c, needs too much change.
3 bucks for a sausage sanger. Onions and sauce included, but still 3 bucks if you don't want them.
5 for a B&E roll

Double A batteries package of 4?
Fi...$4.29
Nice try, I think this whole shelf looks suspect
One soda 12 ounces?
50 cen!
