Is Liam Santa Maria the best NBL writer out there
I was the writer of the century !
( at school was a newsletter they called The Century , and I was a writer.....)

Easily the best. Most others just churn out generic crap that requires little analysis or thought.

Yeah he's good, definitely enjoy his articles.

Whatever happened to the Downtown/NBL podcast? I miss hearing from Liam and Tommy Greer weekly.

I think he's clearly the best in terms of analysing the game, his level of understanding of hoops combined with his enthusiastic writing style makes for great reads article after article.

He's really good. Hiss podcast last year was great too and needs to be brought back (IMO)

Liam is fantastic, and he gets the advantage of being able to do it in long form.
Boti, Roy and the others who also do a fantastic job, are restricted by their platform a lot of the time - aside from Boti's columns.
We're lucky to have some really talented humans covering the NBL all over the country.

Marc Hinton, who covers the Breakers for Stuff.co.nz, is also up there

I agree dazzzzzzzzzz knows all. But this guy is pretty damn good too. But then again dazzzzzzz.

He's good, but still new to it. Boti, Roy Ward are still on top. Liam is a great addition to the NBL
