While watching tonights game I couldn't help but notice the depth and talent of the Breakers team. Does the NBL allow third party agreements that stand outside teams salary caps? For example NRL and AFL allows these agreements outside the cap.

I doubt Breakers players would be willing to sacrifice salary (see Melbourne Storm) given NBL salary cap is not that big in the first place.

Do the NBL auditors look at players tax returns v money paid from clubs?
