can you please also put up the video of the leg incident? I didn't quite see it on Sunday...

Yeah, I was completely mystified the first few times but now that I've seen it, I think they've got that one right.

There you go. Worth citing and worth a small fine.

Just saw the end of the video above showing the baseline view.
I don't think Knight will or should get suspended, but there is no doubt in my mind he intentionally pushed the ball in his face. That's def worth a fine though, judging by Ogilvy's $375 for a rugby take down Matty Knight will get a $50 fine.
Imagine if Knight did that to outback Shaq.

I didn't catch it until I'd already uploaded, but I'd say that's what it is. Working on a zoomed-in shot now.

I hope they've got a better camera angle than that to go off! Seems frivolous from that angle.

If there was a fine-worthy striking incident with 19 seconds to go in game one, Knight is looking at a two-year suspension.

Game 1 people

Neither of them were in the game with 19 left in the 4th, unless that's the other incident.

"When in the game was the incident with jacobsen and holyfield, don't want to watch the whole game to find it"
Holyfield was on the court for like 4 minutes :P
4:32 Left in 3rd to 2:57
2:31 Left in 1st to EOQ
Let us know if you find it

How about fining the refs???
Big call missed in the Ogilvy grab of the leg that swung momentum....2 shots and the ball and the outcome could be different...
Refs need to be accountable as well.

Next fine could well be $129.99.
But it is only the NBL finals series, so who gives a tripe in the main stream media about this and any of the games so far?Why put this on the media? Roy Ward was how I heard about it. The NBL hasn't been tweeting or publishing these penalties on their site.
Deplorable main stream media, just deplorable.

I understand that fines are obviously not NBA-like given the relative salaries.
But am I the only one who finds it funny that the league would issue a $375 fine. I think the minimum for a fine should be $1,000 - a small fine does look a bit amateurish but that's just my subjective view.

"NBL get away with sweeping it under the carpet"
Huh? They fined both players. They acted fairly swiftly on it too. That is the opposite of sweeping it under the carpet.

Trice in trouble I think, definite flop warning coming his way ;-)

Yes and the deplorable mainstream media coverage means NBL get away with sweeping it under the carpet as there is no public pressure to deal with.

If this was an AFL practice game it would be headline news, mentioned and spoken about for at least a week and debated by the football crazy masses!

Jacobsen for striking Holyfield ???? Anyone have footage cause I don't reval. Ay intentionals by Jacobsen

Once again Aylen sees the action and does absolutely nothing! That guy is a POS!

Dirty Knight
But NBL will give him a few hundred dollar fine and move on

I think he got an USF, and then the Hawks fans bitched and moaned about it for ten years.

What happened with Brad Robbins threw the ball at Dave Gruber?
Knight will be playing Game 1.

Its not even as bad as the Ogilvy trip so he will be looking at a fine at the most.

So , Ogilvy found guilty of tripping , I wonder whether they will speak to ref about his eyesight...

The contact is fairly minimal but the intent is there. And the intent is what matters in the first instance I believe.
Given what happened to Hire for the errant elbow, I would guess that this receives similar treatment.

See the Cats-Taipans game thread. There's a video clip of the incident towards the end of the thread.

On striking, saw something about Matt Knight being charged with striking? Trice was upset about something at one point in the final few minutes?
Edit: Here's the footage thanks to Luuuc:
Knight hits Trice in the side of the head with the ball. Looks pretty intentional but I'd be surprised to see a suspension coming from that.

So if Marino has been de-listed from sturt where will she end up? Like her or hate her she is a quality player in our league. Surely she would strengthen any line up out there
