Because Cubillo is a more all round PG than Conti

Conti has been placed in a very fortunate position in team with very little depth but absolutely hands down the best media exposure going

Boomers wouldn't have finished any differently with or without her so her inclusion this year has just allowed her to experience the WNBL not really contribute

The young Adelaide guard however has literally had to run that team , hence why she should have been the rookie though she plays very much like a junior jumping all over the place , but again an opportunity in a team that had no one . She would not have been even on the bench in teams like the Rangers and townsvillr or Sydney.

In any other team both would be lucky to be a development player,

But in a few years time if conti keeps developing she will benefit from this current exposure to the WNBL level

How can you compare McLean to Conti when she did not play anywhere near the minutes Conti did and her stats are nowhere near as good either.

Credit to her. Amazing prospect for Australia. Her progression from u17/u18 and now wnbl has been amazing. So quick with nice handles and a descent shot.

Thought elsworthy deserved the gong though. Played so much more, but on a losing team.
She should get a u19 gems invite imo.
I'd have her as a backup to Conti.
