Tigers men odds on SA premier league ?
#629801 - I was suggesting the import loved the quality insights of the man on this very forum from over ten years ago, not his coaching from last year.

watched tigers play tonight. Don't really seem to have it together. Took only the first 4 minutes to score 15 points, then almost another 26 minutes to score the next 30.
May be quite unfair , but Tigers seem to be in love with bouncing the ball, counted over 35 bounces with 3 passes in one scoreless possession ( including the outlet pass from the rebounder)
Drimic got sent off with a double tek at 3/4 time.
Their import seems a bit lost ATM, no really clear role it seemed to me. just go out and play ?
whats with the refs ? there were two on the womens game on three on the mens ?

Yeah, I'm sure there import was heavily watching with interest the coaching prowess of someone in south Australia and the other ring it's the same, one not even being in Adelaide a year. What rot. Creek is more the reason you'd want to go to southern, to play with the best premier league player in the state and reap the rewards.

It's not just the cheque book, it's that they have a coach who for years was a quality contributor to Hoops SA. Players flock to play for a man like that.

My top 3 mens premier league -
Tigers
North
Fville

Qld have a points systems. Reductions for players who have been at the club a certain amount of time or played juniors there. Could work in SA.

Sure teams bring in imports, but to basically recruit imports and 36ers to play majority of minutes, it's just a case of the cheque book being the difference. Interesting concept would to have a rule that most of roster must have played juniors for the club at some stage, would never work but be interesting to see in action.

loyalty doesn't seem to mean much now. Most clubs would say "are they better than what we have and can we get them?" they don't say "they have been at the club, let's promote them".
Spectators say "lets go and watch a win" they don't say lets go and watch those players that have been at the club 8 years".
Tigers will go close again after getting a taste last year.

That Norwood team didn't feature many Norwood original juniors - most came from
elsewhere. But most had also been at Norwood for quite a while.
I don't feel too strongly about clubs bringing in guys for seniors. Unless its to the detriment of their juniors coming through.

Totally agree with Brunson, i love what Southern are doing!. Just generally a great vibe around the club. Feeling it with North aswell, they have some good signings and those signings give back to the junior program which will in turn see it grow.
Norwood had Holmes in 2015 but besides him, pretty much earned that title with their regular outfit bar the Irish import who warms the bench.

"Good to see they're promoting their juniors, nothing like buying a title."
This is an old ridiculous statement. As a poster above said majority of winners spend money to get the best players they can. We want the league to be the best it can be.
Also what the Tigers are doing is fantastic as they are bringing excitement to the club and as a result they are getting huge numbers of juniors. They are developing a great culture and they will be a strong club at junior level very soon.

#629622 - Name one club that hasn't bought a title in recent times. Maybe only Sturt and that's it.

Drmic, import(s) and Creek again

Good to see they're promoting their juniors, nothing like buying a title.

Hi,
Does anyone have any good contacts to build a custom basketball scorebench?
Also, any contacts that make the cool floor wipers would also be great.
Thanks
