Interesting question, is it better to get experienced player but on downside of career, or motivated young guy that while maybe not as good can makeup with desire. Seems the problem that the young guys straight out of college are out if depth going straight into strong league like nbl, should clubs look at players from state leagues that have at least gotten their feet wet at least. Guys like Starling and Kirksey in recent years could probably be ideal as that third import.
After a great comeback last night Cairns should have there mojo back & win this one. If they do they get some breathing space & have conquered the doomsday double (which is certainly not as daunting as it used to be). If Ubaka can find his form that will be the case but Perth are not a push over like Adelaide so im tipping Perth by 3.
