Big V Origin Games
Serious question that needs to be asked is will the stadium at Casey be available. Had a junior game there Friday and it's still under construction. Locals were saying vandels got in during week causing damage.

Sort of defeats the idea of metro V country players, it should be like state is and that goes by your address, interstate players are ineligible.
As for how they choose it, think they simply draw names out of a hat from players put forward by their clubs when you look at the mix of players in the women.
The reason you have the different divisions is because in theory SC should be a higher standard than Div1 and Div 2 and YL
So how arethey going to realistically mix so many divisions and get a good standard of basketball.
Just because a player scores 25 points in YL or Div1 certainly doesn't automatically put them into a SC level, and that's what they should be aiming for, show casing the best they have, not a random collection.

A really strange event this one.
Last year eligibility were all over the place (metro players playing for a country club can represent country). This year they have changed an "interstate" player (according to their youtube show) to being a country representative.
They spoke on their show about a player who last year played for Metro and this year will play for Country - which, by definition, confounds the whole "origin" concept I would have thought.
I think the selection criteria is they have 20-30 places to fill (including coaches) so selecting as many as they can from different clubs will give them the best chance of drawing a crowd.

Today Butler take on UConn in the NCAA Division I Championship game.
The game is being broadcast live on ESPN via Foxtel or you can watch online for free via CBS's feed that can be access via ncaa.com
What are your predictions?
I think Kemba Walker will step up when it counts and carry the Huskies on his back as they win the Championship. For Butler, it is bridesmaid time yet again as much as I would love to see them win.
