Eastern Conference Finals: Celtics-Cavs
^ well, they actually didn't even get to 11-0, my bad

Yet another team can't get over the 11-0 perfect playoff start record.
Also Cavs gameplan isn't as easy now as before it was all about containing a 5"9' player who was always going to be the Celtics focal point.

Shows the potential in a well-coached squad of solid defenders. But I can't see LeBron letting it happen again.

Isaiah Thomas to make a comeback in game 4? lol

Wow. I wasn't watching, but I stopped checking up on the score when I saw Boston were down around 20 at half time. The live odds would have been ridiculous for them to win it at HT.

The two series are just about what obscure records the Warriors and Cavs can break on the way to sweeps.
Spoiler.
Today it is how many three pointers can be hit in a game by a tall PF who is a career 36% three point shooter (that is, just above league average).

Woj had something about Boston being keen on Hayward?
Funny how we all would've expected Cavs-Celtics and Warriors-Spurs to be solid series and instead they've been a shambles. Boston have ruled Isaiah Thomas out for the remainder of the play-offs now.

"Sports gambling is for losers."
Sports can potentially be quite profitable if you're smart with it, which not everyone is. I would agree with you though on other forms of gambling like Pokies and Casino games.

Who would be available in trade, though? You want someone under 25 to keep the salary down and make sure they're not too old by the time Lebron stops being capable of destroying you. Most of the guys who could actually help wouldn't be available for the price of the #1 pick - George is only on the table because he's leaving anyway. And the others might help with rebounding - Monroe, Valanciunas, ?? - but have pretty glaring deficiencies.
I agree that rebounding is a massive issue though. They have no ability to create any pressure on Cleveland shooters because anything they chuck up that doesn't go in has a good chance of getting a second attempt.

Didn't cash out. Stupidly thought they were a chance but I have a bigger bet on the Cavs to be champs so he'll see how that goes.

Boston needs rebounding so badly though they might still trade away pick 1 rather than pick up another guard.

To me the upside of the game 1 and 2 results is that the Celtics should be pretty comfortable that they're nowhere near beating the Cavs, so there's no point trading the #1 pick for a rental year of Paul George. I don't think PG13 gets them past the Cavs and the way they're currently set up, they should be the best team in the East once this Cleveland era comes to an end. But if game 1 and 2 had been closer, they might have been tempted to think that George put them over the edge.
Yeah that's the extent of potential upside I can come up with.

Celtics shooting at 28.3% so far in this game. Down 90-46 on their home floor and Thomas won't play the second half.
They're looking like they'll need that draft pick now.

Celtics couldnt wait to give up a years good work of gaining home court. Was over within 24 minutes

And they're having a laugh if they think they can put Horford and Olynyk on Lebron as the primary defender.
Brad Stevens for all his playcalling brilliance is not great at those sort of adjustments.

Kelly Olynyk needs to redo Love's shoulder and then do a Zaza on Lebron.
Otherwise get your brooms out.

Someone from the Celtics needs to take one for the team and Zaza the f%^k out of LeBron. Otherwise get the broom out again

LeBron played bulk minutes and looked dominant in the bits I saw. Some superb passing.

Offensively Boston were fine: they had a bunch of good/great looks that didn't drop in the first half.
Their defense is a concern. Not because they were terrible, but because 100% rested LeBron is an animal. Either he was getting shots at the rim, or his shooters were getting wide open looks.
Problem is, Boston looked really tired - IT especially. It will be a tough ask for them to win more than a game or two.

Has anyone had any uniforms made up recently? Looking for a recomendation for somewhere that makes good uniforms at a good price. I've checked out forum sponsor Dunk and they seem pretty decent, but there's plenty of choice out there so I thought I'd throw it to the Hoops community.
WIth the $AUD going gangbusters at the moment I would have thought some US based companies could be a cost effective option, anyone ventured down this path?
