NBA and BA open NBA Global Academy in Canberra

So is it a separate program to the CoE? Will the athletes live at the AIS or fly in fly out??
It's definitely a good thing if it gives more kids an opportunity

It sounds good, then again having NBA money to help us sounds an enormous benefit for our region

You would hope it opens up some doors and gives kids that are passed over by the CoE coaches an opportunity to show their talent. If is solely limited to those at the CoE then it's a waste!

NBA part is good, BA not, bt NBA are organised and should make up for BA incompetence.

Makes you wonder why NBL doesn't have a presence at the AIS.

Just reading on the bigV website and have seen that they are having a 'BigV Big Bounce All-Star' weekend on the june long weekend!
alot of different rules should make for an entertain day of basketball!
They are playing their Champ men against their Youth League and Div 1 v Div 2, then winners play off in a final!
