Oh... I read Ugly Igley as saying "bounced inside the rim". Carry on.

Years ago

What does that have to do with anything?

Years ago

Release. There have been buzzer beaters rim in and out before.

Years ago

The release, I believe.

What about if it left the hands beyond the 3pt arc, bounced inside the arc - would it be counted from the bounce or the release?

Or if the siren sounds to end the quarter before it hits the court

back of backboard/support = out of bounds

duh?

Years ago

not anywhere on the backboard just the back of it

Years ago

or if it hits anywhere on the backboard or supports that it is deemed a violation.

Years ago

As long as it doesn't go out of bounds it is legal.

Hi hoops fans,

Well the ever delightful Joe M and Mrs. Joe M are heading to LA and Vegas for a few weeks over the Christmas time and New Year break and would love to catch a few NBA game (if the strike ends or hopefully not even started).

Last time we went, we had tickets arranged for us, so I didn’t have to worry about it.

My question to you is what would be the best way we can get a few tickets – happy for clippers, Lakers or even to drive from Vegas to Phoenix as it’s only about 5 hours.
