NBA All Time Starting 5
"How could anyone seriously consider not picking Bird?"
I have the same starting 5 as you.
Larry Bird is a dilemma, I have always considered him a 4, but in a lineup with McHale and Parish he would be a 3.
If he is a 3, you can't push out Lebron. If he is a 4, its a tough decision against Timmay.

Magic Johnson
Michael Jordan
Lebron James
Larry Bird
Kareem Abdul Jabbar
How could anyone seriously consider not picking Bird?

Pistol not even mentioned !

My pick would be:
Stephen Curry
Michael Jordan
Kevin Durant
Larry Bird
Shaquille O'Neal
Reason:
Try defend that.

Oscar R
Michael J
LeBron J
Tim D
Wilt C
Bench:
Magic J
Kobe B
Larry B
Karl M
Hakeem A
Throw in a few others:
Jerry W
Steve N
Steph C (know he's still young)
Scottie P
Julius E
Bill R
Shaquille O
Kareem AJ
Dominique W
Alvin H
David R
Isiah T
Bob P
Charles B

*with Kobe Bryant, Larry Bird, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Tim Duncan and John Stocktom coming off the bench (even though I only said starting 5)

I think mine would be:
PG: Magic Johnson
SG: Michael Jordan
SF: LeBron James
PF: Hakeem Olajuwon
C: Shaquille O'Neal
I know that this team probably lacks 3 point shooting but any one of these 5 players could dominate at any stage of the game and also contains various playmakers. Lavar and family probably wouldn't beat this even though he will argue against it.

Kyrie Irving measured at 6'1 3/4 has listed himself as 6'4

surely after college players do not have to inflate their heights this much. Listing yourself 2 or more inches taller does not change your actual height so why do the players do it.
