Well the CQUniversity CEO was flying in/out of Rockhampton to Taipans games for the last season at least maybe even two. Pretty hardcore.

Interesting, makes sense the CQUni obsession with Taipans in recent years - it's come full circle and sounds great for students.

Also Taipans play Rockhamption at CQUni for preseason again (vs. Bullets).

Malgorzata 'Margo' Dydek, the tallest active female basketballer during her 10-year WNBA career, has died in Brisbane aged 37.

Dydek, who was pregnant with her third child, had been in a medically induced coma since having a heart attack on May 19. The baby did not survive.

The Polish centre, who stood at an incredible 218.4 centimetres (7 feet 2 inches), was selected by Utah Starzz as the No.1 pick in the 1998 WNBA draft.
