Guard Talent in the NBL this season
Wouldn't classify Newley as a guard. Yes he can swing to 2 but he's more of a versatile forward.
Too risky pre-judging new arrivals, whether imports or locals coming from college. Too easy for a third of those new-to-NBL imports to flounder. And then even hard to judge after early games.
If you're including Sobey, you have to include D Martin and maybe others, surely?
Best ever? Not as certain on that one, but it's a good crop.
Imports fresh out of college are a crapshoot, so Scoochie is probably the safest pick for Most Disappointing Guard, but I'm going to go with DJ Newbill.
