Forgive me but we have a billionaire owner, why he hasn't bought a plane for the club yet with all the mod cons and extra leg room and whathaveyou, I can't understand, it would help let the team make more direct flights and not have so much time waiting around. I'm guessing that if they were to play an NBA team next season (providing that it's deemed a success from NBA and they want our teams back) then if they using their own air craft to make the trip less taxing on the players makes sense.

Better do it quick as his missus just turned 91 and who knows what the Wildcats will look like if the Bendats aren't owning/running the club.

And for those wondering Jack has put a heap into lots of other aspects of the Wildcats organisation like the Bendat Basketball Centre that looks as great from the outside as any AFL club

From Perth it's an additional 4 hour flight + layover in Sydney/Melbourne so it would make the journey that much harder on the players.
It'd be nice to go at some point if this becomes regular, but logistically it makes a lot more sense for Syd/Mel/Bris to be the ones. Those are also the 3 cities that the average American is more likely to have heard of too.

Cats a quality organisation who are just a level ahead of the other teams in all aspects. While it's been smart for them to decline the NBA offer it would have been fun to see them beat an NBA team.
